My Thoughts On Daylight Savings

My Thoughts On Daylight Savings

My thoughts on daylight savings are all over the place. I think that it is very outdated to have daylight savings. Daylight Saving Time started on Sunday, March 14, 2021 and will end on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 a run of 238 days. It has begun the second Sunday in March and lasts until the first Sunday in November since 2007. You might not know what daylight savings is used for but the practice of moving the clocks forward one hour from standard time during the summer months and changing them back again in the fall. The general idea is that this allows us all to make better use of natural daylight: moving the clocks forward one hour in the spring grants us more daylight during summer evenings, while moving clocks back one hour in the fall grants us more daylight during winter mornings. So once again my thoughts on daylight savings are like I said all over the place.I don’t really see the point of changing it all the time. It’s really annoying how the sun is already down by 4:45 pm. Like by the time I come home from school it’s dark outside because I take the magnet bus and get home later. But I also like it because I get more sleep but it kind of ruins any plans I have for the rest of the day because it’s already dark. So at the end of the day I feel two ways about daylight savings I hate it because it ruins the rest of my day but I love it because I get more sleep.
