The Perfect Valentine’s Day Gift For Your Sweet-Toothed Loved One

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I thought it would be a good idea to teach you how to make Valentine’s Day Rice Krispie Treats! These snacks are incredibly sweet, and are perfect for your friends and family who harbor a sweet tooth.

For your ingredients, you’ll need:

> 3 cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treats, although you can replace it with other cereals with small pieces, or just crush it if they’re too big!

> 3 cups of marshmallows, it’s recommended you get the mini marshmallows because they melt a lot more quickly. It’s only optional though!

> 3 tablespoons of salted butter

> Pink/Red/Whatever color food dye

For preparation, get a container and line it with parchment paper to prevent the finished Rice Krispie treats from sticking.

Now, melt the butter in a large saucepan. Melt the butter to the point where it’s completely liquified and slightly bubbling. After reaching that point, turn the setting to medium-low and put in your marshmallows and stir it all until it’s melted and gooey. Add in your food coloring into the marshmallow mixture and mix until there are no more streaks of white. Turn off the heat and add in your Rice Krispies or cereal of your choice. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture into the prepared container. Cover it with plastic wrap, then put it in the fridge to chill and firm up. After around a few hours, take it out and cut it up into smaller pieces. Plate/package it up and give it to your Valentine. <3
