     Self care is very important to all.  It is a mental, emotional, and physical standard all try to meet. At times self care can become hard to keep up with and manage. As times get hard, we decide to not take care of ourselves.. But I am here to encourage all to keep going, and better yourself within time! Self care is an impactful thing and can impact your daily lifestyle for the better.. you got this Fleming Falcons.

Try this:

  • Download a meditation app like Headspace, Calm, or My.Life
  • Do yoga. A great place to start is Yoga for Teens by Yoga with Adriene on YouTube!
  • Exercise! Walking, bike riding, skating, dancing, or playing your favorite sport helps you to be physically fit and decreases depression and anxiety.
  • Be sure to get eight or nine hours of sleep to help you to function at your best.
  • Be creative. Journaling, writing, painting, drawing, doing photography, and playing music helps you to ward off anxiety and depression while expressing your thoughts and feelings.
